5. ročník soutěže „Ma thèse en 180 secondes“

Univerzita Karlova ve spolupráci s Francouzským institutem v Praze a Asociací Gallica pořádá 5. ročník soutěže „Ma thèse en 180 secondes“.

Koncept celé soutěže je založen na tom, že uchazeč z řad doktorandů popíše obsah a cíl své disertační práce ve 180 sekundách ve francouzském jazyce laickému publiku a určené komisi. Soutěž není limitována oborem.

Uchazeč musí být zapsán k doktorskému studiu na některé z českých univerzit pro akademický rok 2022/2023, případně úspěšně absolvoval studium a získal svůj doktorát po měsíci srpnu v roce 2022.

Uzávěrka přihlášek pro první kolo (český výběr) je 19. února 2023. První kolo proběhne v online formátu.

Úspěch v prvním kolem (český výběr) zajistí pozvání na mezinárodní finále pořádané 8. června 2023 v Praze Univerzitou Karlovou ve spolupráci s Francouzským institutem v Polsku, Rakousku, Maďarska, Slovenska a České republiky.

Charles University in cooperation with the French Institute in Prague and the Gallica Association organizes the 5th edition of the competition "Ma thèse en 180 secondes"

The concept of the whole competition is based on a PhD candidate describing the content and aim of his/her dissertation in 180 seconds in French to a general audience and a designated committee. The competition is not limited by discipline.

The applicant must be enrolled for doctoral studies at a Czech university for the academic year 2022/2023, or have successfully completed their studies and obtained their doctorate after August 2022.

The deadline for applications for the first round (Czech selection) is 19 February 2023. The first round will take place in online.

Success in the first round (Czech selection) will secure an invitation to the international finals organised on 8 June 2023 in Prague by Charles University in cooperation with the French Institute in Poland, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
