Historical use of the region and its importance for the future protection of important species along the Bavarian-Czech border

Project number 293 is financially supported by the ECA Objective Czech Republic - Free State of Bavaria 2014-2020 and the European Regional Development Fund.

Project website: www.landschaftimwandel.de

The project aims to address the problem of population decline of the following rare and endangered species in the Rokytnice and Lužní potok river basins in the Aš region and the Pfreimd river basin in the Bohemian Forest: Myriophyllum alternifolium, Margaritifera margaritifera, Ophiogomphus cecilia, Euphydryas aurinia and Succisa pratensis, which can be seen as indicators of the quality of spring areas, surface waters, wetland, meadow and forest communities.
