The lecture on „WHAT ENERGY FUTURE AFTER THE WORLD OIL PRODUCTION PEAK?“
The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) present their fifth student lecture Tour being offered by Mr. Roland Geoffrois. The lecture will provide a political topic for all students and academic professionals attempting to present a consitent and credible view the long - term world energy future. The lecture will be held at the lecturing room "Mineralogická posluchárna", Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague, Albertov 6, Prague 2 on April 15, 9:30.
AUC Geographica scientific journal
AUC Geographica (Acta Universitatis Carolinae Geographica) is a scholarly academic journal published since 1966 that focuses on actual results of research at wide field of geographical sciences: physical geography and geo-ecology, regional, social, political and economic geography and regional development, cartography and geo-information, demography and geo-demography.

4EU Alliance at the Geographical Institute
In mid-June 2018, a two-day meeting of geographic departments was organized under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Science within the strategic partnership of the European University Alliance framework (so-called 4EU).

4EU+ Alliance news: sustainability and enlargement
4EU+ Alliance was established in 2018 to create a fully integrated European University system by 2025. This year, the focus of 4EU+ was to find solutions for achieving sustainability of its educational projects. This news article summarises this year's developments, achievements, and future prospects.

Thanks to a CU student mini-grant, our PhD student, Aayushi Pandey, studied a newly discovered glacial lake in the Swiss Alps with colleagues from the University of Milano and Heidelberg University.
