4EU+ Academic Mini-grants

Charles University facilitates collaboration among teams within the 4EU+ Alliance through the provision of mini-grants. In 2024, academic teams consisting of members from Charles University and a minimum of two other 4EU+ universities are eligible to seek financial assistance through this seed-funding initiative.

Newly formed teams can request a maximum of 300,000 CZK (approximately 12,000 EUR) to support their research or scientific-educational activities. Existing project teams, aiming to finalize accomplishments and enhance the long-term sustainability of their projects, can apply for up to 250,000 CZK (approximately 10,000 EUR) by jointly seeking external funding.

All proposed projects must align with the 4EU+ Mission Statement and be thematically linked to one of the 4EU+ Flagships, namely:

Flagship 1: Urban Health and Demographic Change

Flagship 2: Europeanness: multilingualism, pluralities, citizenship

Flagship 3: Digitisation – Modelling - Transformation

Flagship 4: Environmental transitions

Applicants must use the online form to submit their proposals, and the deadline for requesting support has been extended to 29 February 2024, from the original deadline of 15 January 2024.
