Nigeria Satellite Atlas: Nigeria SAT-1 1:300 000
The Atlas was donated to Map collection by Zdeněk Krejčí, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, the Republic of Chad, the Republic of Cameroon, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the Republic of Niger, the Republic of Gabon and the Republic of Congo.
Atlas published by the National Space research and Development Agency.
The Nigeria SAT-1 satellite was the first satellite to be built under the Nigerian government sponsorship. It was launched into orbit in Russia on September 27, 2003, and was part of the Disaster Monitoring Constellation System (DMC).
