Digitization, Visualization and Accessibility of Globe Virtual Collection: Case Study Jüttner’s Globe
An article on the digitization of globes was published in the ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information.
In the impactful open access ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information did, Ing. Eva Štefanová, Ph.D., Mgr. PhDr. Eva Novotná, Ph.D. and Ing. Miroslav Čábelka publish article on digitization, processing and availability of 3D models of indentations.
The process was presented using the example of the processing of the Erdkugel, a globe created by Josef Jüttner. The authors were concerned with how to document the object, process it into a 3D model and publish it so that it is accessible to the public.
