SAS Joint Certificate Program

We are proud to be part of the SAS® Joint Certificate Program! Starting from September 2019 we are members of this list of academic institutions helping to educate the next generation of analytics leaders. Moreover, the Faculty of Science, Department of Demography and Geodemography is the only institution in the World offering the joint certificate focused on demography: Advanced Demographic Analytics Joint Certificate.

The Joint Certificates are provided to students of the Master of Doctoral study, who complete the required courses and requirements:

  • Successful completion of compulsory courses
    • SAS Applications in Demography I
    • SAS Applications in Demography II
    • SAS Applications in Demography III
    • Elementary econometrics
  • Successful completion of elective courses
    • Demography in Life Insurance
    • Either Professional Internship with SAS I or Professional Internship with SAS II
  • Practical application of SAS 
    • Using SAS in the Professional Internship project or
    • Using SAS in qualification Thesis (Master or Doctoral) or
    • Using SAS in a scientific publication (paper in a scientific journal).
