Registration for course at the Faculty of Science by students of other higher education institutions

Students of other higher education institutions who want to take a course at the Faculty of Science at Charles University can do so but with regard to the capacity of courses within the programme of lifelong learning  Courses of Faculty of Science for students of other higher education institutions (Studium předmětů na PřF UK pro studenty jiných vysokých škol). 

How to register for courses

In the anonymous regime in the information system of Charles University (SIS), it is possible to find courses in the module Subjects.

In the course detail, find the name of the course guarantor and contact them and ask whether you can take the course in question.

If the guarantor agrees, fill in the application form to take a lifelong learning course – you can find it HERE.

The hard copy of this application has to be delivered before the course starts (before the beginning of the semester) to Gabriela Lojková at the Further Education Centre (Centrum dalšího vzdělávání), room No. 314, Viničná 7, Praha 2. You can deliver the application form in person during the office hours, bring it to the filing office at the faculty building at Albertov 6, Praha 2. You can also send the application by mail to the following address: Centrum dalšího vzdělávání, PřF UK, Albertov 6, 128 00 Praha 2.

You will be informed about the result by e-mail. The e-mail will also provide you with information about how to register the course in SIS.

The details about the course are included in SIS or you can get them from the course's lecturer.

After you successfully complete the course, you can generate yourself a confirmation in SIS – the guidelines are HERE. Alternatively, you can also request a hard copy of the confirmation at the Centre of lifelong learning.
