Geographers in the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science

The Academic Senate is a self-governing body that represents the faculty’s academic community (academic employees and students). Its most important competencies include, for instance, selection of candidates for the position of dean, approval of internal regulations and management of the faculty. The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science at Charles University in Prague has 28 members, half of which represent academic employees and half students.
