Internationalisation Fund

Scroll down for an application and other documents.

The Internationalisation Fund of the Faculty of Science is intended to support internationalisation at the Faculty. Financial support is allocated according to the priorities of the faculty, primarily for:

  1. student trips not covered by funding under other programmes (e.g. ERASMUS+, POINT or CU Mobility Fund); preference is given to stays longer than 30 days, with a minimum stay of 10 days; travels to conferences will not be supported
  2. staff trips (even short-term) that develop cooperation with foreign universities and scientific institutions (not mere research stays) and that cannot be covered by ERASMUS+; support will be provided, for instance, for the preparation of joint projects and inter-university cooperation programmes (e.g. in the framework of 4EU+), the preparation of new international courses, participation in their implementation, joint training of students (joint degree, cotutelle), preparation of joint study materials (including hybrid teaching);
  3. arrivals of visiting academics (lectures, preparation of projects, participation in teaching)
  4. support for the development and implementation of joint study programmes in cooperation with one or more foreign universities
  5. organisation of international summer schools (the preferred source of funding is the CU Internationalisation Support); standard field trips will not be supported
  6. participation in international summer schools (CU POINT is the preferred financial source)

Academic Staff trips: a proposal for the secondment is required for realization of the mobility, support is provided according to a set financial plan and is subject to an accounting which must be completed within 10 working days upon return. Unspent funds within the allocated support are returned to the Internationalization Fund. All mobilities must be settled by 30 November 2023.

For all outgoing participants: within 14 days after the end of the mobility, participants will submit a final report (see Application Documents), students will also submit a certified transcript of their learning outcomes.

Without a proper accounting and a properly written final report, any further application to the Internationalization Fund will not be supported.
