The University of Gothenburg offers the opportunity to apply for the Summer School for Sustainability, which will take place from 27 July to 2 August 2024 at the University of Gothenburg campus in Sweden. Charles University, as a partner university, has received the possibility of a scholarship for 2 of its students (2 students will be nominated per faculty). Subsequently, a selection process will take place at RUK, where 2 final nominees will be selected for our university. For applying is necessary to have completed at least one semester at your faculty and English at B2 level (no documentation required). Students can choose 1 of 5 offered courses focusing on the following areas:

Managing Migration

Digitalization in a Changing World

Teaching Sustainable Development from a Global Perspective

Imagining justice for a sustainable world: perspectives from fiction, philosophy and religion

Biodiversity in Western Sweden

The courses combine workshops and seminars and are all taught in English. Upon successful completion, the graduate will receive 7.5 ECTS credits. If the applicant is selected, he is exempt from the fee associated with this summer school.
