Bioacoustics Research Group
The bioacoustics group of the Department of Ecology, Charles University is formed mainly by present and former students of Tereza Petrusková (see more here). Though we focus mainly on vocalisations of small passerines, we do not hesitate to study other vocalizing taxa including cuckoos or deer. For details about our research, see current projects.
Apart from other researchers, we are open to collaborating with international visiting students (e.g., Erasmus interns) and high school students, amateur ornithologists, birdwatchers and basically any volunteers.
