Map Collection of the Faculty of Science with the support of the Ministry of Culture Czech Republic held an exhibition "The Treasures of Map Collection"
The exhibition presents a unique maps, atlases and globes. Perhaps the greatest treasures of the exhibition are newly discovered maps that are entirely unknown to the public and have been restored only recently: - Frederik de Wit's map of Germany and Evert Gijsbertson's map of Europe.
Accompanying program - guided tours with a professional - 28th May, 25th June, and 23rd July 2014 - at 14:00 (czech language only). Admission to the exhibition and guided tours are free.
The exhibition opening will take place on the 6th May from 2 PM in the foyer of the Map Collection.
