Exhibition "Czech lands in the middle of Europe"

The contacts of Czech countries with European countries, both economic and cultural, are documented, among other archival materials, by numerous maps and plans from the 17th-19th centuries stored in the National Archives.
The presented archives from the National Archives' funds form a unique part of European cultural heritage. The exhibition is complemented by loaned three-dimensional objects from other memory institutions and from private collections, e.g. an 8 mm gold aggregate embedded in quartz from the Šlojířská vein of the Pepř mine from Jílové u Prahy or a unique plastic map of the Bynovec estate with part of Bohemian Switzerland from 1911.
Visitors can view the Czech Land in the Middle of Europe exhibition in the exhibition hall of the National Archives in Prague on Chodovec from September 14 to October 30 every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
