Bachelor's Study and Master's (post-Bachelor) Study
In addition to the application, a nostrification of the previous education is required (for foreign applicants) - for Bachelor's applicants, a certificate of nostrification from the high school attended, and for Master's (post-Bachelor) applicants a certificate from the Bachelor's level.
Deadline for sending appliacation: end of February.
Announced requirements are different for every academic year - please check it out in the IS Study (SIS).
Bachelor's studies and Master's (post-Bachelor) studies are offered only in the Czech language. There is an exception, the study branch Ecology of the Master's (post-Bachelor) programme Biology, which is offered in the English language too. Doctoral studies are offered in the Czech language and in the English language.
Studies in Czech language are free of charge. For information about the tuition fees for study in English please contact the guarantor of the study programme.
Applicants who successfully passed their entrance examination are enrolled for study.
Before arrival in Prague the applicant is obliged:
- to send a copy of the cheque covering the tuition fee
- to complete an application form for accommodation at student residence
- to provide information pertaining to the expected time of arrival (by snail mail or email)
Permission to enter the Czech Republic is only granted after all these preconditions have been met, and the applicant has obtained a relevant letter from the Office of Education and Student Affairs. The Faculty does not accept responsibility for the applicant's travel expenses, their accommodation or any inconvenience caused by their unexpected arrival.
