English courses of academic writing and presentation skills for PhD students at the Faculty of Science

The Faculty organizes English courses of academic writing and presentation skills for doctoral students at the Faculty of Science. Workshops are led by a native speaker, Jason Hwang whose short CV is found here.

Workshop "Writing 2: Improving your words" builds on the workshop "Writing 1: Essentials". The students should first take the workshop "Writing 1: Essentials".

The courses will be held on different dates, always two days one week apart. Each session takes 4 hours (incl. a break of fifteen minutes). ALL THE WORKSHOPS ARE HELD ONLINE via ZOOM.

There are 10 spots in each course. Each participant has to participate in both 4-hour long lectures (it is not possible to switch courses). Due to the enormous diversity of specialization of doctoral students at the Faculty, the workshops are organized on a general level.
