Allowance for a student's trip abroad for an internship

The endowment fund of the Faculty of Science of the UK, whose statute includes the support of pedagogical, scientific and research activities carried out at the faculty, is again this year announcing a call for applications for a grant for a student's trip abroad for an internship. Only students of PřF UK master's or doctoral studies can submit an application, until April 7, 2024. The main grant provider is the IOCB Tech Foundation within its project "The IOCB Tech Foundation Scholarship".
  • In 2024, the Endowment Fund of the Faculty of Science of the Charles University will award 10 grants of CZK 40,000 each.
  • Master's and doctoral students can apply.
  • The application deadline is April 7, 2024
  • The decision on the grant allocation will be communicated by April 16, 2024

Please submit applications electronically to the address nadace@natur.cuni.cz, the application need not exceed one standard A4 page. Preference will be given to contributions to finance trips of 30 days or more.

In the application, please state:

1. the purpose of your trip and its connection to your studies,
2. job content at a foreign workplace,
3. an overview of your scientific results to date,
4. the budget of the total financial costs of the trip, including the purpose of using the allowance,
5. a statement of study results from SIS will be attached to the application, for doctoral students during the master's degree.

The main grant provider is the IOCB Tech Foundation as part of its "The IOCB Tech Foundation Scholarship".
