The Virology Master´s Degree specialization offers its students a deeper understanding of various viral families, the mechanisms of viral pathogenesis and the interactions between viruses and the immunity system of host organisms. Besides this, they will also receive a good general education in the fields of molecular and cell biology and genetics, and will master a number of methods commonly used in virology, molecular and cell biology and gene engineering. After graduation, they can find their place in many institutes oriented at basic and applied research, human, veterinary and plant medicine.
