My primary interest is the understanding of the surface proteome of immune cells with the help of binding reagents of various types, including establishment of novel in vitro systems for their generation. Recently, I have switched my attention to dynamic changes within the immune system under the influence of infectious diseases and tumorigenesis threatening the organismal homeostasis. Both pathologies are linked to the immune system during the development phase as well as in the later stages of serious violation of our health with rare events of escape mutant processes. Here, pathogens or tumor cells are being delocalized to other organs, which usually show specific immune response class.
