Open Postdoc position - molecular biology, cell biology or biochemistry

Postdoctoral position to study how lipid metabolism affects chromatin structure and chromosome segregation is available at the Department of Cell Biology, Faculty of Science, Charles University.

The project aim is to elucidate how lipid metabolism affects chromatin structure and chromosome segregation using the fission yeast as a model. A combination of targeted and genome-wide approaches will be used, including yeast genetics, metabolic perturbations and ChIP-seq. The project builds upon our recent publications PMID: 27687771, 26366556.

Candidates should hold a PhD in molecular biology, cell biology or biochemistry. Experience with yeast or bioinformatics is preferred, but not required. The position is open from 01/2017 and is fully funded by the PRIMUS program of the Charles University. Funding is initially available for 3 years.
