Studies
The Department of Experimental Plant Biology provides various educational trainings. Members of the Department provide with several types of courses, classes, lectures, and mentor bachelor (undergraduate), master and doctoral (graduate) students. They also provide specific courses for teachers and for continuing studies (Ageless University).

Bachelor (Undergraduate) studies
This basic level of education needs to be fullfilled according to the rules of the Biology Section. However, if you are interested in plant biology, please consider to adjust your choice of courses according to the study plan recommended in "modrá Karolinka". For more details, specifications and questions, please contact our study advisor.

Master studies
For follow up master studies the Department of Experimental Plant Biology offers two study sub-disciplines:
PLANT ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY Study advising: RNDr. Hana Konrádová, Ph.D. |
|
PLANT CELL AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGYN Study advising: RNDr. Michal Hála, Ph.D. |
|
PLANT ECOPHYSIOLOGY Study advising: Prof. RNDr. Jana Albrechtová, Ph.D. |
Doctoral (graduate) studies
The highest university degree may be achieved at the Department in the PLANT ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY program.
Continuing lifelong education
Ageless university (alias University of a Third Age) (in czech)
University of a Third Age is a specific program of a lifelong education focused on persons in a post-productive age, such as retirees. The main scope of the U3A is to provide seniors with university level of knowledge and skills. Moreover, U3A offers an opportunity to inter-generation contacts. Thus, the U3A fullfills an important community aspect, renders the possibility of qualified systematic university level of education and provides up-to-date knowledge in plant biology to all types of trainees.
