Project annotation

Research project aims to find relevant attitude for the implementation of the European Landscape Convention principles at the local level. The project will be undertaken through the pilot study at the "Nové Dvory - Kačina" area, which represents intensively utilised type of agricultural landscape. This landscape bears signs of landscape design activities that trace back to the Baroque and Augustan age (a part of the Landscape Conservation Area "Žehušicko"). The basic goal of the project is to work out effective measures to secure landscape sustainability, which will respect economical potential of landscape as well as the protection and development of its natural, historical and cultural values.
