Research activities

My research intentions are focused on a) physical geography, b) dynamic and evolutional geomorphology, c) geodynamic aspects of active orogeny, d) natural hazards and risks, and e) selected topics of cosmology related to Earth Sciences. Current professional interests are directed towards physical geography of high mountains in Asia and the landform evolution in central Europe during the Quaternary.

Current lectures

I am involved in three groups of university lectures. It concerns with 1) Bachelor’s degree: Geomorphology, Mathematical Geography; 2) Master’s degree: Theory of Physical Geography, Palaeogeography of the Quaternary, Nature of High Mountains; 3) Postgraduate studies: General and regional Physical Geography.
