World map portal
The OldMapsOnline world map portal enables browsing of important world cartography collections including the CU FS Map Collection from a single web interface. The indexing is based on the geographical area of inquiry and driven by the MapRank Search algorithm. The selection of maps can be narrowed according to time.
The OldMapsOnline portal has been developed through the TEMAP project. It was created in cooperation with The University of Portsmouth (UK) and Klokan Technologies GmbH (Switzerland) and is a continuation of work begun in the Moravian Regional Library project from 2008-2011.
