The UNESCO certificate was handed over to the Map Collection
On Monday, April 9th, 2018, the Dean of the Faculty of Science prof. RNDr. Jiří Zima, CSc. handed the certificate which corroborates the entry of Camocio’s maps of the Great Siege of Malta in the Memory of the World Register by UNESCO over to the Director of the Map Collection PhDr. Mgr. Eva Novotná. The Dean received the certificate during the ceremony on Thursday, April 5th, 2018, from the Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic Ilja Šmíd.
