Map Collection acquired a unique globe in Danish
At the beginning of May, Map Collection received a valuable gift of a globe in Danish, which is truly rare and possibly even unique in the Czech Republic. The globe, whose author is a prominent Danish geographer Steen Bocher, has a diameter of 33 centimetres and was published in Copenhagen probably at the turn of the 1940s and 1950s. The work was donated by doc. Kurt Munk Andersen and Mgr. Pavel Farkaš. Map Collection is very thankful for the precious gift.
