Historical Geographers in Czechia: Themes and Concepts

On the occasion of the XV. International Conference of Historical Geographers ICHG 2012, you can visit the exhibition “Historical Geographers in Czechia: Themes and Concepts“ (Současné výzvy v české historické geografii obrazem). This exhibition  has been prepared in English language in the foyer of the Geographical library on Albertov street and it’s open from the August 6 to September 21, 2012. Free Entrance.

In total 22 exhibition panels have been prepared. These panels with historical-geographic themes map various problems and  different periods of Czech history from the Middle Ages to modern times.

Besides map collections of the  Charles University and the Historical Institute of the Academy of Sciences in the Czech Republic  the most important publications and atlases, found within the Czech historical and geographical research, have been presented.
