Exhibition on Malta
New exhibition called Siega maps was opened in National Museum of Fine Arts in Valleta on January 29th. Map Collection of Charles University participated on prepare of this exhibition
Opening ceremony of exhibition Siege maps took place in National Museum of FIne Arts in Valleta on January 29th. Exhibition presents four unique maps by Giovanni Francesco Camocio. The author of these maps shows the progress of the Great Siege of Malta in the 1565.

These maps are unique. Registration of maps in UNESCO - International Memory of the World Register was prepared during year 2015 in cooperation National Museum of Fine Arts and Map Collection of Charles University.
