Exhibition of the Map Collection of the House of Lobkowicz in the National Library
The exhibition Map Collection of the House of Lobkowicz presents a variety of old maps, plans and geographic atlases, which were once in the possession of the hořínsko-mělnická branch of the House of Lobkowicz. The exhibition is held from 27th April to 17th June 2018 in the Klementinum Gallery in Prague. Visitors have a unique chance to see precious hand-written maps and prints dating back to 1579-1880, among them rare early lithographs, hand-written maps of the dominions of the House of Lobkowicz from the beginning of the 19th century or probably the oldest printed railway map of the Austrian empire.
