How to register in Charles University libraries
1. Get your CU card
It is possible to receive the card in one of the CU Card Service Centre. Please don ́t forget to bring
your ID card/passport. Some types of cards are subject to a charge.
2. Set up your login
It is necessary to set the password no later than five days after receiving the CU card in the CU CAS
system. Then you can use your login (ID number under the photo) and your password in all CU
systems.
3. Fill in the library application form
By filling in the library application form online you confirm that you have been acquainted with the
Library and Lending Regulations of the Charles University and that you consent to the processing of
your personal data for library services purposes.

Once you confirm your online application, you become a registered user and you can use the services of CU libraries. List of all CU libraries can be found at library.cuni.cz/libraries
