New and recent books about Japan in the Geographical library
Book Donation Project of the The Nippon Foundation aims to improve awareness of contemporary Japan on several levels: policy - international relations; economics –business; society – culture; literature - arts and history.
Geographical library acquired successfully a 36 books under this project in total. Books that were included in the collection of the Geographical library, are available from its online catalog (also from the OPAC Catalog of Charles University) and are also contained in the printed catalog "100 Books for Understanding Contemporary Japan" where they were marked with a red dot. The printed catalog can be viewed at the Geographical library. (At present it is exposed across the circulation desk.)
