Research

Research at the Department of Social Geography and Regional Development focuses over the long term on revealing key processes and mechanisms of socio-spatial inequality and their conditionality on various levels of hierarchy. The aim of the research is to analyze and synthetically assess the development and level of the regional, demographic, socio-economic and socio-cultural differentiation of society during the period of its post-totalitarian and post-industrial transformation.
