SAS Specialization Certificate: Advanced Demographic Analysis
We are proud that since September 2019, Charles University, through the Department of Demography and Geodemography, has been authorized to issue the SAS® Specialization Certificate focusing on Advanced Demographic Analysis, even at the highest level, Tier 3! We have thus become one of the academic institutions that help educate future generations of analytics professionals. In addition, we are the only institution in the world offering this certificate focusing specifically on demography and demographic analysis.
The Certificates are provided to students of the Master of Doctoral study, who complete the following courses and requirements:
- Successful completion of courses
- SAS Applications in Demography I
- SAS Applications in Demography II
- SAS Applications in Demography III
- Elementary econometrics
- Demography in Life Insurance
- Either Professional Internship with SAS I or Professional Internship with SAS II
- Practical application of SAS
- Using SAS in the Professional Internship project or
- Using SAS in qualification Thesis (Master or Doctoral) or
- Using SAS in a scientific publication (paper in a scientific journal).
