Research Interests

My research interests include the understanding the role of fish in the open water of reservoirs and lakes, fish behavior, ecology of ichthyoplankton, quantitative sonar studies of YOY fish, fish spawning, fish migrations (DVM, DHM), aquatic top predators (wels catfish, northern pike, European perch particularly), using SCUBA divers in fish and submerged macrophytes research, fish sampling in habitats with high structural complexity, fisheries, feeding ecology of fish eating birds and mammals (common kingfisher, great cormorant, Eurasian otter particularly), human – wildlife conflict, nature conservation.
