How to enroll to the programme

1. Placement test in Moodle

  • Students interested in enrolling in the CŽV EN programme are required to take a placement test. To find out about exceptions to this rule, please go to Full text of the English study rules tab.
  • The online test will take place in Moodle between 10. 8. and 31.8.2023.
  • It is possible to take the test before officially enrolling in a study programme

Instructions for logging into Moodle:

a) students with a CAS login and password log into Moodle

 

b) students without a CAS login and password need to create an account first

  • This applies only to students starting their first year of study who have not received a CAS login and password yet.
  • First, the student needs to create an account in Moodle. Next, they will be able to take the placement test.

2. Signing up for a course

  • Signing up in for a course in SIS will take place between 13.9 and 24.9. 2023.

a) students who enrolled in a study programme before 25.9.2023

Log into your SIS student account (using the CAS login and password). Logging into the SIS system is only available to students enrolled in a study programme by the study department. 

Go to the "Přijímací řízení" (“Admission procedure”) tab to sign up for the non-compulsory programme "Anglický jazyk (úroveň K1 - K7)" (“English language (levels K1-K7)”) at our faculty. Courses are only offered to students of the Faculty of Science enrolled in a full-time study programme in SIS by the study department and who have been assigned to a given course level. b) students who enrolled in a study programme after 24.9.2023

  • Complete the online application form HERE. This should be done between 13.9 and 24.9.2023
  • You will receive a link to the timetable.
  • Confirm your choice of parallel courses by e-mailing Irena Antonová irena.antonova@ujpo.cuni.cz

3. Choosing a timetable and payment

  • After singing up in SIS, log into the external application (using your personal CU number and CAS password).
  • Choose a timetable.
  • Make your payment. See Instructions for payment for more details.

The external application will be open between 13.9 and 24.9. The payment has to be made at the same time, i.e. by 24.9. the latest.

4. Admission to courses organised in SS 2023/2024

Submitting an application for a course in summer semester

FILL IN THE ONLINE FORM IN THE PERIOD FROM 22.1. TO 11.2.2024 LINK HERE

Subsequently, you will be sent a schedule.

You will confirm the selection of the parallel by e-mail to Irena Antonová.

And then you make a payment for the course by bank transfer. See Instructions for payment.
