Czech Language Courses
Czech language courses for Erasmus students of the Faculty of Science are provided by the Third Faculty of Medicine – Department of Foreign Languages.
The courses take place once or twice a week (depending on the level) and focus on conversation and topics of everyday life in the Czech Republic.
Upon successful accomplishment (a final test / an exam), you will be awarded a Certificate and get 5 ECTS credits / per semester. The Czech language course will also be integrated into your study plan.
Start: Tuesday, 12th of October 2021, 4. p.m., Burian’s lecture hall,
(main building, ground floor) at the Third Faculty of Medicine,
Ruská 87, Prague 10

|Beginners I||1 800 Kč|
|Beginners II||– course of A1 level, for beginners with some basics||1 000 Kč|
|Intermediate||– course of A2 level, suitable also for students with Slavic native languages||1 000 Kč|
- Course books are included and will be given after the payment.
- The registration fee will be paid in cash/by card upon registration.
- The schedule of the courses will be determined at the spot.
- Should the epidemiological situation worsen, the courses will be continued in an online format in order to be completed to the original extent to enable students to get 5 ECTS upon completion.
By bus – Nr. 124, 139, 150 and 213 from the metro station Želivského to the bus station Bělocerkevská, than by walking back to the main crossroad and through Ruská street to the building of the Third Faculty of Medicine.

Hours per term (semester):
0/50 = 50 practice lectures in one term (1 lecture = 45 minutes)
0/50* = 25 practice lectures and 25 hours of self-study
Ex = Exam, C = Credit
Please note that MARKS can be given only for subjects finishing with an exam (Ex or C+Ex in the detail of the subject) !!!
Other subjects can only be evaluated with credit points!
