Didactics of Chemistry

The subject characteristics, and the profile of doctoral study absolvent

The doctoral study provides integrated education, allowing its absolvents to perform conceptual and research activity in the chemical education field because of their high erudition. The absolvents of the doctoral study will be ready for independent scientific, pedagogical, and coordination work in this field. The absolvents, will be able to use their skills at didactic places of work at universities and colleges which prepare Chemistry teachers, in the research institutes of Czech Ministry of Education which concern themselves with the chemical education problematics, in workplaces of institutions and organizations focused on postgraduate teacher education, in national and international institutions and organizations focused on state-wide or international research in chemical or science education (Division of Chemical Education EuCheMS, European Science Education Research Association, International Organization of Science and Technology Education, International Council of Associations for Science Education etc.).
