Unique author identifiers – Introduction

Unique author identifiers (hereinafter "UAI") allow authors with identical or similar names to be differentiated. In addition, they make it possible to find all publications by a single author, even if the author's name is given in a number of variants. Chief among these identifiers are Researcher ID, ORCID, and Scopus Author ID. We've created these pages for you to answers questions about UAIs, and to provide contact information so you can get in touch with us if you need help.
