Fond Junior (Post-Doc)

Charles University has opened the call for the Junior Fund, which is intended for international post-doc students. This fund will provide funding for selected international junior academics at CU from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2025.

Funding is provided by the UK Rector's Office together with the Faculty of Science, with funding managed by the applicant's supervisor.

The faculty deadline for submission of the proposals of the project topics is May 31, 2023. 

Each applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a citizen of a foreign nationality.
• At the time of application, he/she must have completed his/her Ph.D. studies at a foreign university and the Ph.D. degree must not be older than 5 years. This period may be extended by time spent on maternity and parental leave
•  Must not have been habilitated at the time of application.
   

The applicant's application must include the following:

• Candidate's application (Annex)
• Letter of recommendation (Annex)
• Professional CV
• Copy of doctoral diploma

The deadline for applications is set by each researcher, the faculty deadline for selecting the applicants is July 27, 2023.
