EMBO Solidarity Grants: supporting life scientists displaced by armed conflicts

The EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organization) accepts applications for one-year fellowships “EMBO Solidarity Grants” supporting life scientists displaced by recent armed conflicts, e.g., by the Russian war on Ukraine. Deadline is 15. 2. 2023.

Applicants:

• Must be doing research in one of the EMBO subject areas.
• Must be registered at a university or research institute in the country with armed conflict and have proof of refugee status.
• Have the agreement from an appropriate host laboratory in an eligible country e.g., Czechia.

Applications are accepted from life scientists:

• To start/continue/finish their PhD work.
• For post-doctoral work.
• For extended research stays by scientists at the professorial/group leader level.
