The Congress ESEB 2022
WHEN: 14 - 19 AUGUST 2022
WHERE: Prague Congress Centre, 5. května 1640/65, 140 21 Prague 4-Nusle
The ESEB 2022 Congress is organised by the European Society for Evolutionary Biodiversity - an academic society that brings together more than 1500 evolutionary biologists from Europe and the rest of the world - scientists, students, as well as journalists and others interested in the field.
A distinctive feature of ESEB congresses is the bottom-up approach in determining the scientific content of each session. The vast majority of the scientific programme is structured into symposium themes proposed by ESEB members, and the symposium organisers also play an important role in the selection of oral and poster presentations from submitted abstracts.
Symposium topics can cover any topic related to evolutionary biology: specific or broad, emerging or well-established. A symposium usually consists of approximately 5-12 oral presentations, with the remaining abstracts within a topic being presented together in poster sessions.
Invited speakers usually have their congress registration paid (but not their travel or accommodation) and have extended speaking time.
Detailed information about the congress, including the possibility of registering contributions, can be found here.
