As indicated above, the main theme of the Summer School is the relationship between migration and development, including the discussion of the Sustainable Development Goals, which the international community has committed to achieve by 2030 within the framework of the United Nations.

In addition to lecturers from our faculty (Prof. Drbohlav, Assoc.  Prof. Janská, Assoc. Prof. Novotný), prominent international figures in migration research and teaching are featured as lecturers - keynote lectures are given by Marie Price (George Washington University), Tanja Bastia (University of Manchester) and Brenda Yeoh (National University of Singapore). The entire team of lecturers is experienced and of high quality and is also represented by other experts, particularly from Europe, Africa and South America.

In addition to expert commentary on important topics, the Summer School offers participants a wide range of opportunities to discuss and share their own experiences, research results or activities from their practice.
