Conference "Bologna process: benefits, challenges, opportunities"
Combining keynote lectures and roundtable discussions, the objective is to facilitate increased cooperation at all levels among the partner institutions. Among the topics addressed will be the importance of the Bologna process for the Erasmus exchange, the problems of joint degrees, and the general problem of divergencies and specificities with certain study fields and in respective national contexts.
The conference will be attended by prominent personalities of European partner universities, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, and the European Commission, as well as the diplomatic corps.
The conference follows the activities of the newly established Eastern Partnership University Cluster consortium, which was established in October 2022 also on the grounds of Charles University and which brings cooperating universities from the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries together. On February 1, 2023, Sorbonne University joined the eleven founding university partners, the core of which are several members of the 4EU+ university alliance. The aim of this initiative is to systematically develop cooperation in the field of education, science, and research.
The conference will take place in a hybrid format. If you are interested in attending the event in person, register HERE. For an online stream click HERE.
