Research Interests:

Under the auspices of the Department of Teaching and Didactics of Biology, I focus on first aid and communication in normal and crisis situations. I also teach several subject related to this problematics.

In my research activities, I examine, for example, the first aid teaching and general population knowledge regarding urgent medicine. I focus on emotional experience of individuals who provide first aid and other factors that impact efforts to provide assistance to injured people. At the same time, I take part in projects examining the learning disposition of students, their success in education and the psychological characteristics related to this - such as the birth order.

I examine the birth order (family/sibling constellations) as a part of my doctoral studies at the Department of Philosophy and History of Science at the Charles University Faculty of Science as well. I am focusing on the influence of siblings on various aspects of the human personality. This primarily involves research into the influence of the family environment as the most important epigenetic factor affecting character traits, sexual strategy, resolution of moral dilemmas, and even the physiological or morphological traits of a person.
