Laboratory of cytometry
Laboratory of cytometry provides access to state-of-the-art cytometry instrumentation to both internal and external users. We offer user training, expert advice in experiment design, cytometer settings and data analysis. Laboratory contributes to undergraduate teaching of immunology and cytometry and organizes cytometry workshops and courses.

Instruments:
BD LSR II "Ondra"
LSR II (Becton Dickinson) is digital state of the art cell analyzer equipped by 4 lasers, 18 fluorescent channels and 2 channels for light scatter (FSC and SSC). The part of the system is also High Throughput Sampler (HTS) providing rapid, fully automated sample acquisition from microtiter plates. In high-throughput mode, the HTS can process a 96-well plate in fewer than 15 minutes. Standard throughput mode can be selected for acquisition of larger sample volumes. CST module and application settings in FACSDiva software take care for regular quality control and long term stability and repeatability of measurements.

BC Cytoflex "Oliver"
Cytoflex S (Beckman Coulter) is a powerful benchtop cytometer (4 lasers, 13 fluorescence parameters) with highly sensitive APD detectors, portability option and violet side scatter for enhanced resolution of small particles down to 200um. Sample loading from various tube formats and 96-well plates uses peristaltic pump allowing exact volumetric measurements and absolute cell counting.

Magnetic sorter allowing fully automated separation of cells labeled with magnetic beads.

Flow sorter equiped with a 488nm laser allowing detection of fluorescence in 3 channels and two scatters (FSC and SSC).
