The study in this Master´s Degree specialization is mainly focused on general, animal and human cytogenetics. Besides these areas, the graduates will also obtain a good general knowledge on molecular, cell and developmental biology. In the course of their study, they will encounter various cytogenetic techniques including molecular cytogenetics and electron microscopy. After graduation, they can find work e.g. in applied research, medicine and agriculture, as well as in basic research.
