Laboratory of Microbial Genomics
The Laboratory of Microbial Genomics studies how gene expression is regulated during the cell cycle and in response to various stimuli, such as nutrients or stress. We want to understand how this regulation affects the organization and dynamics of the cell nucleus, and how it contributes to the maintenance of genome integrity. In our studies, we employ a range of genetic, biochemical, cell biology, computational and genomic methods using the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe as a model.
We are also open to collaboration with researchers needing Next Generation Sequencing data analyses (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq)
