Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship (IEF or IIF) ve firme Lonza, Německo

Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates interested in a 2 year post-doc position via a Marie Curie fellowship (IEF or IIF). The
candidate researcher is asked to write a Marie Curie proposal in collaboration with us to undertake research on one
of the following topics:
A) Cell cultivation and characterization
B) Microarray analysis to adapt manufacturing processes
C) Cell fermentation in various scale-up systems including bioreactors
D) Bioreactor design by in silico models of small-scale fermentation systems to predict/develop scale-up processes

The projects will be carried out in one of Lonza's innovation R&D teams focusing on mammalian stem cells and their
production at Cologne/Germany.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a PhD or at least four years of full-time equivalent experience in:
- Cell cultivation (isolation, cultivation and harvesting) and cell characterization with, ideally, knowledge of
primary cell culture and an established background in biochemistry, or
- Microarray analysis with established experience in different microarray platforms and, ideally, some knowledge
of -omics technologies, or
- Cell fermentation and, ideally, some knowledge of bioreactor design/hydronamics, or
- In silico models of fermentation systems.
He/she is interested in interacting in our group and in communicating with our scientific/industrial collaboration
