Academic Senate

The Academic Senate is a self-governing body representing the academic community of the Faculty (academic workers and students). Its most important competences include, for example, election of a candidate for the position of Dean, approval of internal regulations and economic management of the Faculty. The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science of Charles University has 28 members, half of which are academic workers and half students. Together with the Institute for Environment, the Geology Institutes has been represented by four senators since 2009. Further information can be found at the web site Academic Senate of FS CU.
