General information
Studies at the Faculty of Sciences are intended primarily to prepare students for a professional career and teaching (at high schools) in biology, chemistry, geography, geology and environmental science. They are divided into three cycles:
Pre-graduate study

A bachelor's degree cycle (generally 3 years), which leads to a Bachelor's degree (Bc.)

A master's degree cycle (generally an additional 2 years), which leads to a Master's degree (Mgr.)
Post-graduate study
-
Postgradual studies (generally 3 years), which lead to the awarding of a Doctorate (Ph.D).
